Dogs are very welcome at the chesa surlej hotel.
In order to provide you and your dog with a pleasant stay, please inform us in advance.
We are happy to provide a bowl and blanket on request. We charge once 18 CHF for up to 2 dogs in the room per total stay.
Walks, strolls and hiking trails are possible from the hotel. We are happy to give suggestions for beautiful tours.
Dogs are also welcome in our restaurants LaBrasera and Alp31. They are also allowed to attend breakfast.
From 2 nights, our guests receive the mountain railway ticket for all mountain railways in the Upper Engadine free of charge. Dogs are free of charge on cable cars.
On selected dates we offer events in cooperation with dog trainers.
Your dog has injured himself ? At the Clinica Alpina in Celerina you will find help.
We are a dog-friendly hotel. To ensure this remains the case, we rely on your cooperation. Here are a few clear rules to ensure everyone gets along harmoniously. We ask that you respect these. Thank you very much.

In the hotel:
Dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the hotel. For safety reasons, please keep your dog on a lead as soon as you enter the hotel. There are people in the hotel, as well as other dogs, who may be afraid of your four-legged friend.
In the room:
You will find bowls and simple blankets for your dog in the room. Do you need a dog bed or extra bowls? We have a little of everything in stock. Please let us know.
It is almost impossible to prevent your dog from getting onto your bed when you are not in the room. For this reason, an extra cover is provided in the room. Please use this to cover the bed or sofa to protect the mattresses. In the event of excessive soiling, we will charge an additional cleaning fee of CHF 90. If you use an extra bed instead of a dog bed, we will also charge you CHF 90 for this. If your dog causes any damage in the room (e.g. scratched doors), please let us know. We assume that you have liability insurance to cover this damage.
If your dog cannot be left alone, please take it with you to the restaurant or arrange for a dog sitter.
In the restaurant:
Dogs are welcome in our restaurant, provided they are kept on a lead. Please let us know at reception if you are bringing your dog with you. We can then ensure that you and your four-legged friend are seated at the best possible table in the restaurant. Please ensure that your dog lies under your table and stays there. This is out of consideration for other guests and our staff, and for the protection of your dog.
Around the hotel:
Please ensure you pick up after your dog. There are bins throughout Surlej, and you will find dog waste bags in almost every one. According to Silvaplana municipal regulations, failure to do so will result in a fine. Dogs must be kept on a lead in Silvaplana-Surlej on the roads, in built-up areas and at night. Otherwise, your dog is free to run around anywhere, provided it does not chase game and responds well to your calls. You will find tips on hiking trails and dog-walking routes in your room upon arrival.

Folgende Leistungen werden angeboten:
- Je eine Gruppenlektion NADAC, Mantrailing und ein 3. Erlebnis, bei unseren kompetenten Trainerinnen
- Begrüssungsapéro
- Plauschparcour für Hund und Mensch
- viel Spass und Erholung für 2- und 4-Beiner
Programm:
- Anreise am Mittwoch 19. August 2026
- Mittwoch Abend 18.00 Uhr Begrüssungsapéro und Information zu den Erlebnistagen
- tägliches Training mit den Hunden (eine Gruppenlektion dauert je nach Disziplin ca. 2 – 2.5 Stunden)
- Sonntag Morgen Training, anschliessend Verabschiedung der TeilnehmerInnen
- Abreise am Sonntag späterer Nachmittag oder individuelle Verlängerung des Aufenthaltes
